How To Convince People to Buy You From online

This is the question posed by Barney Grossman at The Business Show 2013 - a brilliant free seminar I attended yesterday for business start up companies at the Excel Centre.    Barney as an interesting background as a Wedding DJ and his top tips for website businesses are:-


  • Keep it simple and clean
  • Less is more
  • Make life easy for customer with buttons
  • Each product - define how your customer will benefit from buying

Barney's best tip was do the Squint test on your website page.  If you squint your eyes and nothing sticks out on your page that makes you want to click it, chances are you need to change i.e. put on a 20% off sticker in bold pink or have a great photo or slogan that really sticks out.
